Ticket Prices Reach New Highs at Disney World

Disney World ticket prices have climbed again, hitting record levels at three of the four parks. This week’s update shows:

  • Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios tickets are at their highest prices ever.

  • Animal Kingdom remains the only park without a new peak price this round.

The price increases reflect ongoing demand and the continued expansion of park offerings. While this might sting for budget-conscious visitors, it also signals the value Disney places on its experiences.

If you’re planning a trip soon, consider purchasing tickets early or exploring multi-day passes to get better value.

New Annual Passholder Merchandise Steals the Spotlight

Annual Passholders have something new to smile about. Disney has released exclusive merchandise just for passholders, and one item is already a fan favorite: the popcorn bucket.

This popcorn bucket stands out with a unique design inspired by classic Disney themes and is only available to Annual Passholders. It’s a collectible item that also works as a functional snack holder during your park visits.

Other new merchandise includes:

  • Limited-edition pins

  • Apparel with exclusive designs

  • Accessories themed around upcoming park events

If you hold an Annual Pass, keep an eye out for these items on your next visit or check the official Disney merchandise website.

Rock n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets Reopens in 2026

Fans of thrilling rides and the Muppets have a reason to celebrate. The Rock n' Roller Coaster is reopening on May 26th, 2026, with a fresh twist.

The ride will feature a new song list, replacing the original Aerosmith soundtrack with tunes inspired by the Muppets. This change aims to bring a fun, family-friendly vibe while keeping the high-speed excitement.

Expect the same fast launches, loops, and special effects, but with a new soundtrack that adds humor and charm. It’s a great way to experience a classic attraction with a new flavor.

Hollywood Studios’ New Animation Courtyard

Hollywood Studios has added a new feature to its Animation Courtyard that’s perfect for fans of Disney characters and photo ops.

The courtyard now includes Disney character handprints embedded in the pavement, leading visitors on a path to the iconic Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat. This interactive walkway lets guests connect with their favorite characters in a unique way.

It’s a simple but charming addition that enhances the park’s storytelling and offers a fresh spot for pictures and exploration.

Disneyland App Updates with My Disney Wallet

Technology at Disney keeps improving. The Disneyland App has introduced a new feature called My Disney Wallet.

This feature allows guests to:

  • Store digital tickets and passes

  • Manage payment methods securely

  • Access special offers and discounts

  • Track spending during their visit

My Disney Wallet aims to make the park experience smoother by reducing the need to carry physical tickets or cards. It also integrates with other app features like mobile food ordering and Lightning Lane access.

If you use the Disneyland App, updating it to the latest version will unlock this handy tool.

New Han Solo Meet and Greet at Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars fans have a new reason to visit Galaxy’s Edge. Han Solo has arrived for meet and greets, bringing the legendary smuggler to life.

Guests can now meet Han Solo in costume, chat with him, and snap photos. This addition adds to the immersive experience of the Star Wars land, making it feel even more like stepping into the movies.

Look for Han Solo near the Millennium Falcon or other iconic spots in Galaxy’s Edge.

Changes to Dining Plan Tiers Include Deluxe Table Service Option

Disney has updated its dining plan options, adding a new tier to better suit different guest preferences.

The new Deluxe Table Service tier offers:

  • More meals per night of your stay at a Disney Resort Hotel

    • 2 Table service credits per night

    • 1 quick service credit per night

    • 1 snack credit per night

  • Access to premium dining locations

  • Flexibility to mix quick service and table service meals

This tier sits above the standard dining plans and targets guests who want a more upscale dining experience without paying out of pocket for every meal.

If you’re planning a trip and want to enjoy signature restaurants or character dining, this new tier might be worth considering.

Come back tomorrow for part two of this week's news!
